[Verse 1]
The wind whispers softly, raindrops fall in a steady drizzle,
As if sighing for the blossoms on the boughs.
Should this rain cease, spring's splendour would vanish too.
Who will hold back the scattered petals, this fleeting radiance?
[Verse 2]
You say the blooming season is too brief, Unwilling to witness its withering.
Frowning deeply, You neglect the cup before you.
Since it cannot be retained, Why fret in vain?
Better to revel while the blossoms still grace the branches,
Drinking heartily till the dawn.
[Chorus]
I urge you, beneath these blooms, to revel freely, Care not for the year when sober you may awaken.
This year's blossoms fade, next year's shall bloom, Year after year, the scene remains unchanged.
Only in the mirror do we see our youthful faces fade, Our black hair turning white in the blink of an eye.
If not now, when shall we raise our cups? How could we do justice to such a splendid scene?
[Bridge]
Streams murmur onward, flowing far away, Mountains layer upon layer of verdure, stretching to the horizon.
Wherever the scenery lies, there you should go, Why dwell on it, bound within your heart?
As long as the flask holds wine, As long as your chest holds no cares,
With flowers or without, it's all the same, This world is still a good place to be.
[Chorus]
I urge you, beneath the blossoms, to revel in the moment. Ask not, when sober, what year it may be.
This year's flowers fade, next year's bloom anew. Year upon year, the scene remains unchanged.
Only in the mirror does youthful bloom fade. Silken tresses turn to silver in the blink of an eye.
If not seized in the moment, down a few cups! How could one do justice to such a splendid occasion?
[Outro]
Care not for spring breezes caressing the verdant south, nor autumn moons gazing upon distant passes
If within your heart dwells a Peach Blossom Spring, all seasons may be springtime
Come now, drain these two or three cups
Drunk between blossoms blooming and falling
